This moroccan rug has a muted colour palette of red, coral and green. Just note, it looks much better in real and is just difficult to photograph.
It is vintage, about 50 years old and in very good condition. Its pile of wool is short to very short and could also be used instead of choosing a kilim rug.
Its length of 300cm and width of 140, makes this rug a rather long and narrow carpet. This means it would work well as a living room rug, especially with a 3seater or L shaped sofa. In case of the latter a part of the rug would follow the horizontal part of the sofa, while the longer end would be tucked under the shorter part of the L shaped sofa…. images attached might help to get the look.
Alternatively it could also work well as bedroom rug. In case of a kingsize bed, the rug would sit best behind the bed, as a long runner. If the size of your furniture is smaller, like a queen or double bed, the rug could go underneath the bed pulled just below the nightstand or pulled well below, with only the backlogs on top.
Its faded look and feel suits well in various home interiors: mixed with contemporary furnitures as well as for vintage home lovers.
