This super large kilim is handwoven, relatively new made, with mixed materials of wool, cotton and hemp. It is very strong durable and hardwearing and its texture is soft to touch. It has a bit of a linen feel to it, yet much thicker and has a good weight to it.

its colour palette is largely blue, with various shades of navy and jeans blue. Some areas have a pinkish tone and there is an odd patch of black.

This large rug would make good kitchen kilim as its good large size and easy colour palette. Alternatively it would sit well too as living room rug or bedroom carpet with furniture full or partly on.
